Balsam Mountain Stewards: Multiflora Rose Removal

Join Amy and an intrepid group of Weed Warriors to tackle a patch of invasive Multiflora rose which is threatening the beautiful native plant community of one of the true gems of the Preserve: Willett’s Hornblende Slope, a designated NC Natural Heritage Area. Bring thick gardening/work gloves and hand tools if you have them (we’ll have extras to share), and a water bottle. We’ll take some time to admire the spring wildflowers while we’re out there! Free bragging rights included. Meet at the Nature Center.
