Balsam Mountain Stewards: NC Bird Count

The North Carolina Bird Count is our state’s contribution to the Great Backyard Bird Count, a global effort by citizen scientists everywhere to document the world’s bird species. We’ll mosey along the trails, forests and fields together in the fresh morning air and create a group checklist of the birds we see or hear. The results we submit will help scientists understand and protect birds in North Carolina and worldwide. Meet at the Nature Center.
