Balsam @ Pinnacle: Spring Ephemerals

Lovely, delicate, yet tough-as-nails: the earliest spring wildflowers brave the cold for a chance at unobstructed light. Some bloom early but keep their leaves all summer. Others, the true ephemerals, make only a brief above-ground appearance each spring. Blink (or stay indoors too long) and you could miss them! Join BMT naturalist Amy Duggins at Pinnacle Park to search for these hopeful harbingers and learn about their lives.
